The main written exam soon will be at held at the pre- designated venues and the syllabus of the exam has been released which is reproduced below. The question paper will be divided in two parts: Part-A, and Part-B. The Part-A will be regarding to General Knowledge and will carry 40 marks and Part-B will consist of Veterinary Science carrying 80 marks. The both papers will be given time period of 2 hours. The questions will be multiple choice objective type.

The questions will be relative easy compared to the other exams but would require good grip of history of Rajasthan and veterinary sciences.
The minimum passing marks required for the exam are 40 percent, candidates obtaining below this will not be considered for further recruitment processes.
The part-A paper will be scoring 40 marks multiple choice objective questions with internal choices of four answers.
The Part-A paper will be based on General Knowledge about Rajasthan. It will require the candidates to have knowledge of broadly History, Arts & Culture, Literature, Traditions and Heritage of Rajasthan.
The questions will be asked on main History of Rajasthan, Ancient Cultures, Main Dynasties and their achievements, Mogul and Rajput Relations, Main Architectural traditions and specialties, Important Forts, Monuments and Structures, Religious Movements and Folk gods-goddesses, Folk music, Folk traditions, Folk fairs and holidays, Folk festivals, Historical tourist places, Main paintings, Indigenous languages, Classical Literature, Famous personage, British Colonies and main treatise, 1857 mass independence movement, consolidation of Rajasthan and various related subjects.
And some questions will be based on Area, Main regions, Geology, Sand, Natural resources, Wild life protection, Irrigation facilities of Rajasthan, Multi- purpose schemes, Live Stock, Transportation, Environmental and ecological conflicts, Mining and mineral resources, and expanding desert in Rajasthan, Water preservation.
The part-B paper will be scoring 80 marks multiple choice objective questions with internal choices of four answers.
Part B will contain questions from veterinary science. It will include veterinary anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry, Animal husbandry extension, veterinary medicine & surgery, Animal management and nutrition, Breeding & Genetics, Animal reproduction and veterinary pharmacology.
