Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has issued the online applications for the post of Prosecution Officer, interested and eligible aspirants can apply online before 24th June 2016. UKPSC is a selection commission works for the state of Uttarakhand.

Name of Post – Assistant Prosecution.
Number of vacancies – 26 (UR-17, SC-4, ST- 1, OBC-4)
Pay Scale: – Rs.9300 to 34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600.
Age Limit:- The aspirants should be between 21 to 42 years as on 1 January 2016.
Academic Qualification: – Applicant should have a graduation degree from government recognised university . In other qualification candidates having NCC B and C certificate should be beneficial for selection.
Selection Procedure:- The process of selection will be depend on three stage.
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Exam
There will be tow paper in the preliminary exam first is General studied and second is Law, each of paper will contain 100 questions equal to 100 marks and time period is one and half hour for each paper. Preliminary exam passed candidates will be called for Main exam, In the main there will be four paper General Studies, General Hindi, Law-I (Criminal Law and Procedure with Police Act and Law-II Evidence Act. Each paper will be equal to 100 marks and time period for each paper 3 hours.
Main Exam qualified candidates will be called for personal interview, marks for interview is 50. Merit list will be prepare accordance to highest marks. The answer key of written exam will be pulished with in 24 to 48 hours after the exam, applicatnt can register ant complain regarding to answer key with in 10 days.
